Pastor Weekly - 6/10/26
Hello ICC Family!
Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)
It’s already been a great week here at ICC! We have had a group of 7 precious young people come down from the Upstate to help us with some projects around the church. As they have been working hard cleaning and sprucing things up a bit, they have been a great blessing and witness to us, and a wonderful example of Paul’s exhortation to young Timothy that you read in the verse above. Today, they put on a mini-VBS for our ICC kids. I am not sure who had more fun - the teenagers or our ICC preschoolers! Unfortunately, they will not be able to stick around through our church picnic or Sunday service, but you will still hear from them on Sunday.
Speaking of the church picnic… I hope that you are ready to have some fun on Saturday! Yes, it is supposed to be pretty hot. But we will be prepared to have some fun inside. There will be a worship time, plenty of games for all ages, Family Feud!, raffle prizes, and a lot of food. Please come and be ready to laugh and have a good time. And make sure you invite your family, friends, and neighbors as well. It will be a great opportunity to introduce them to the ICC family.
Sunday morning we will be having a praise and testimony service, so be thinking right now of how you can encourage and bless your brothers and sisters in Christ by sharing what the Lord has been teaching you or how you have seen him move in your life and family.
There’s a lot going on this week, but it is so good to be with the body of Christ. Don’t miss it!
